Like Lou Reed's "Walk on the Wild Side," there's something very 4-a.m.-in-the-city about "The Mess You Made." Postell's impossibly flexible rhymes play with the measure like a cocky cat with a wounded mouse. His attitude shifts from the confrontational to the vulnerable, waxing and waning above the calm seas painted by AbCents.
